PROJECT 20 | WEEK 1

Getting Started

Welcome to week 1 of Project 20! Our goal is guide you through the first 12 week Phase 1 of our OverSpeed training. This week we are covering the basics to get you started with our Level 1 protocol. Everything from warming up, to tracking your progress, to training safety tips. We’ve included additional resources below!

PROJECT 20 | WEEK 2

The Step Drill

Welcome to week 2 of Project 20! You hopefully have done the Level 1 protocol a couple times already, but we wanted to provide a bit more in-depth instruction on the Step Drill. We use this drill, and variations of this drill in later protocols, as well as in protocols for our other products, so it’s an important to learn proper form.

PROJECT 20 | WEEK 3

Ground Reaction Forces

Welcome to week 3 of Project 20! This week Dr. Tyler Standifird breaks down the role using the ground plays in generating club head speed (HINT: It’s a big one). We see golfers that go through our level 1 protocol significantly increase their ground reaction forces.

PROJECT 20 | WEEK 4

Tips for Getting the Most out of  Speed Training

Welcome to week 4 of Project 20! This week Mike Napoleon gives several key application tips covering things like rest, hydration, and best times to train.

PROJECT 20 | WEEK 5

Discovery Learning

Welcome to week 5 of Project 20! This week Mike Napoleon introduces the concept of Discovery Learning and how to use speed-tracking technology to maximize your swing speed training sessions.

PROJECT 20 | WEEK 6

The Heel Stomp Drill

Welcome to week 6 of Project 20! After 5 weeks of training with our Level 1 protocol, you should be moving on to Level 2 which can be found below. We are still training 3x a week here during our first training cycle. In this weeks Project 20 video, we are highlighting a new drill that is introduced in Level 2 – The Heel Stomp Drill.

PROJECT 20 | WEEK 7

Increasing Ground Reaction Force

Welcome to week 7 of Project 20! Dr. Tyler Standifird introduces important concepts around ground reaction forces and how we use the Force Pedal to really emphasize ground forces as we train swing speed.

PROJECT 20 | WEEK 8

Integrating Speed On-Course

Welcome to week 8 of Project 20! Ryan Robillard discusses how to integrate your speed gains into your on-course pre-round and pre-shot routines so you can hit further drives and shoot lower scores when it matters.

PROJECT 20 | WEEK 9

Intensity vs Repetitions

Welcome to week 9 of Project 20! Dr. Tyler Standifird discusses how to maintain maximum intensity throughout a protocol to ensure each swing is as fast as possible.

PROJECT 20 | WEEK 10

Almost There!

Welcome to week 10 of Project 20! Ryan Robillard is back with some words of encouragement to finish out this final part of your first training phase. If you’ve seen some great results, why not share it on social media?! Be sure to tag us @superspeedgolf!

PROJECT 20 | WEEK 11

Maintenance Phases

Welcome to week 11 of Project 20! This week we are talking about the importance of maintenance phases. We will also cover normalization of speed and dealing with plateaus in progress.

PROJECT 20 | Weeks 12

Grip Strength Training

Welcome to week 12 of Project 20! As you are wrapping up your first SuperSpeed training cycle and heading into a maintenance phase, we want to talk about another thing most amateur golfers need to be training – grip strength.
